Avaliação da contribuiçãoNice little pub in Greenwich opposite the world heritage site Greenwich meantime plaque. Good range of beers and ales, also serving food. Lovely interior and secret garden.
We came for dinner on our last Friday night in London, and overall, it was good. The online menu had a ribeye listed, but on the actual, current menu, it was a smaller top sirloin. Fine, but not as good. Also ordered a chicken leek pie and a chicken schnitzel. All were good. Not amazing, but good.
The Mitre has undergone a refurbishment since we were last here, transforming into a much smarter and amicable pub. We had a selection of bar snacks which were delicious prior to going to see a film over the road in the Picture House cinema. Recommended
We were so excited to come and try the food here but waited 40min for the Sunday roast to come and it wasn’t great. The Yorkshire pudding was burn, steak was over cooked, parsnip was raw. Not sure we will return.
Surrounding area is lovely. The rooms are modern and warmly welcoming. Staff are great and it feels like a home away from home.
