The Wooden Table - Greenwood Village

We arrived towards the end of the lunch hour and mentioned wanting the mussels, which, were not on the lunch menu. However, the maitre’d asked the chef if he would whip some up anyway. He did, and they were, as usual, beyond wonderful. The warm responsiveness of the staff is amazing . . . rarely have I received this kind of response. Think about it: when is the last time you asked for something that wasn’t on the menu and the chef happily made it for you? The food is gourmet and delicious. This is a little gem of a restaurant.

Some of the best Italian food I have had, but without the pretentious feeling of being at a high end restaurant.

After seeing a number of positive reviews, Rita and I decided to give the WT a rip for dinner.

O aperitivo de camarão foi uma decepção. Pizza estava encharcada. Batatas fritas com trufas foram excelentes. O serviço foi ótimo. A comida não era. Meu marido e eu desfrutamos happy hour e brunch e eu estava animada para trazer minha filha aqui para o jantar. Foi bom, mas muito espaço para melhorias.

Realmente gostei de tudo! Muito fresco, excelente sabor e serviço atencioso, nós definitivamente voltaremos!
