Auberge de la Chèvrerie

We saw an advert for this restaurant in the tourist office in Obernai. As it was a sunny noon we set off on our bikes. Unfortunately a thunderstorm soaked us enroute and we arrived wet through.After initially not liking the look of us the restaurant rallied and brought us towels and then put blankets over our shoulders as we ordered the set lunch of three courses plus local white wine.Everything was delicious and very well presented. Also very good value. We left warm and relatively dry with the sun shining again.

I have been there with my team after a long meeting and we really enjoyed this restaurant. The cheese is excellent adn everything really clean. One negative point only is that we had to wait a lot between the starter and the dessert.

You want something different? Find your way out here! Expecting rural charm? No such thing, refined elegance, expertise in cooking and serving! Little choice on the menu but only the best things put together in an unexpected and easy way. According wines are chosen with your preferences and the chosen dishes in mind, respect! I will remember the adress!

Wonderful experience in this resort, which is in my opinion the only good one around. The sea view is amazing, the Restaurant is top quality, same as the SPA. By the way, I liked the French touch in the resort !You should also try to dive, spots are beautiful, and the headmasters very professional.

We went there to buy their home made goat cheese which is in a league of its own and Well worth the drive. The small restaurant with tarte flambee is Nice, too.
