La Victoriana - Guanajuato

Muy bonito el lugar, la comida sabrosa, el pan delicioso.

Food is ok, nothing too special and a bit over priced for what it is, but it is a lovely setting which is clearly what the draw is (rather than the food). Nonetheless we have been a few times but the last experience we had was not great. Firstly we sat down at a free table which was dirty and had to wait about 15 minutes for it to be cleaned and to get menus, when we saw the waiter cleaning other tables where nobody was sat. Secondly no cutlery was given or serviettes so when the food arrived we had to just sit there looking at it, rather than be able to start eating. Thirdly, we ordered 2 double americanos which cost 45 pesos each, not too bad a price, but asked to share a tiny bit of milk to go in them and were charged an additional 10 pesos. Obviously it doesn't break the bank but it's the principal of charging extra for something so small when already ordering 2 large coffees. Finally no spoon for the sugar and difficult to get the attention of staff so ended up having to pour it in from the bowl and stir with a fork. Food is generally good but as mentioned a little overpriced. Setting is nice.

Pedí una torta de chilaquiles deliciosa, el jugo fresco y el café muy sabroso. La atención de las chicas fue excelente y también tienen repostería que se antoja. Nosotras llegamos temprano, pero se llena, así que consideren un tiempo de espera.

Fui a desayunar y exquisito!! Me encantó la tostada de aguacate y el pan francés

Excelente comida, y a buen precio! Hay pocas opciones en el menu pero eso garantiza la frescura de los ingredientes y que no hay un solo platillo que no sea delicioso, realmente me da confianza su cocina.
