Old world in zone 1. Once you get out of the noise and drive of zone 1, it is as if you return to the time, somewhere in Spain. The decor is very moorish with a simple elegance. The menu is very Spanish cuisine, although small creates, a sample of everything you want to try. Service is polite and perfect.

Super, great food!! The taste is great! The Sangrias are simply amazing. The place is quite quiet, big, you can go there with friends and family, also as dinner with bae. Haha The prices are appropriate for the quality of the food you receive. Great experience! Love the Paella!

Yo he estado llegando a La Mezquita hace 1994 y disfrutando de la fina comida española! Queso Manchego, jamón serrano, carne guisada, natilla, y vino tinto!! Porfavor aprovecha de una excelente cena y la comida española aca. Es un lugar histórico escondido en donde puede sentir la guatemala de ayer ! I have been coming to La Mezquita since 1994 enjoying exquisite Spanish food. Manchego cheese, Serrano ham, stewed beef with rice and salad, Natilla a Spanish custard, and of course Red Wine! Please I encourage you to visit and take the opportunity to taste this delicious Spanish food and historic location in Zone 1 behind the Police Station. It gives you a taste of the Guatemala of yesterday!
