Skippy Fish And Chips - Gwynedd

I love this place, go every time I go to this area and I am here at least 2-3 times a year. it is a fish and chip shop, so do not expect, nothing else than that...

Now chippys not skippys, still nice. Chips could be crispier. Some were quite hard still. Fish was lovely though.

It’s now called Chippy, Lovely crispy tasty fish. Great scampi (huge portion), ok chips. Best bit however is the very friendly efficient staff.

We were able to get a table early evening without booking. Very good fish and chips, an ample serving. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The food at The Mermaid restaurant is so delicious that it's worth the journey from Tywyn to Barmouth. I highly recommend it!

The fish was supposed to be large, but in our experience, there was more batter than fish.
