Beefy's Pies - Gympie Regional Council

Pie was OK / great pie case excellent service/ staff and great atmosphere. Had the Queenslander pie good price and size

We love Beefy's Pies especially on a cold wet day. We occasionally get one to have for dinner with some vegies.

I recently went to Beefy's Pies in Gympie for the 3rd and 4th times while travelling to Hervey Bay and on the way home.I'd previously tried their stockmans and steak & mushroom pies, which were great, and at a very reasonable price, so this time I went for their curry varieties, curried chicken & veg which was great and on the way back, their curried steak, which was an absolute standout, with great taste and curry heat.The tradition continues, great pies at a very reasonable price, I will definitely eat there again.

THE BEST meat pie I have ever eaten!!Yatala pies don't even come close. You must try the Queenslander meat pie - it is so big. The pastry is perfection and the meat chunky, slow cooked and tender. The gravy is beautiful. A true sign of a good pie is whether or not you need sauce - they definitely did not need any. You MUST get the chips too! With chicken salt of course! I also had to get the massive Wagon Wheel - it was as big as my pie - seriously! That too was perfect. It took me several tries to finish it. The service at the Gympie store was exceptional. The ladies were very attentive and well versed in great customer service.The Gympie store is a bit of a blink and you'll miss it if you're going southbound. The sign isn't well placed and it is on a slight corner. So just look for the BP and it is tucked away beside it. Don't bother with service station pies anymore. Beefy's also have a great selection of family pies (savoury and sweet). They have a great selection of baked sweets, pasties and sausage rolls. They are also gluten and vegetarian friendly.

I will highly recommend stopping here for a pie and dessert. It was plentiful and delicious!! I wish this franchise was more popular!!
