Joma Bakery Cafe • Ly Quoc Su

No complaints from me. This place has much going for it. I visited in early December 2018 and this was the first Western style cafe since leaving the UK and what a good place to start. Plenty of food choices but we only came for coffee and cake as an afternoon treat. Idiotically, we expected a slice of banana bread when we ordered but no we got the whole thing (see pics). It lasted about 3 days in our day bag as an energy snack. Can't believe even a Canadian would consider that a snack to go with a coffee! Maybe a lumberjack would... Other plus points: just a short walk here from the cathedral and so much quieter ; there is much more seating in here than expected walk out the back and you'll find it.

Decent bakery-cafe which has a vegan menu and a range of fruit/herbal teas. Close to the cathedral with seating inside. You can also build your own sandwich. For a better value meal I’d personally recommend either Little Vietnam (next door) or Noodle and Roll, a bit to the south on the other side of the road.

Great place, has a wide range of goodies, bagels, croissant, pies etc! We had a New Yorker bagel, which was good, but nothing extraordinary. The good one was the Italian croissant, that is worth repeating!! Also really nice coffee!

Easy on the expensive side of the spectrum, but every penny worth! the staff is very friendly and helpful, and eating is to die. in several visits one tried a lot of their dishes and enjoyed them all. the most delicious was her pumpkin cheesecake! only one part: they do not have the hanoi special egg coffee

Home away from home, eating is every time delicious, like home in America. the desserts are phenomenal. I have to say if they are lacking at home and want a good meal joma is definitiw the local people speak English and again eating is great, pesto chicken sandwich and cheese steak are excellent. as a reaction to a Canadian company that is great and very happy, they make American food. the philadelphia cheese steak is delicious
