Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was craving for spicy food, so I stopped by at Hot fish for a lunch menu deal. I picked basa filets with spicy sauce plus hot &sour soup. They were pretty spicy and delicious. I will go back to try another dishes.
If you're in the Hackensack area, highly recommend Hot Fish. Super friendly staff and the food is great. We ordered Basa filets boiled w hot chili oil, salt and pepper spare ribs, and drunken noodles. All were pretty good and will definitely be going back.
The fish dish we got was delicious, a great balance of spicy and flavorful. We also tried the wonton in chili oil but there was barely any filling. The fish dishes are definitely the star!
A great variety of Sichuan cuisine in a luxurious Chinese dining space. Lunch portion seems a bit smaller than average but the taste has no compromise. A must go place for all Hackensack foodies.
We decided to try out Hot Fish on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we got a table right away. Must say they have really well decorated the place, one of nicer interior Chinese restaurants that I have been to. We ordered several dishes to out, starting with Dan dan noodles. The sauce in it was too thick and tasted almost like peanut sauce to me. We got tofu , sting beans and a chicken dish as well. All of them were average quality. Lastly we ordered the Baja fish in chili oil sauce. Unfortunately it wasn?t appealing to me either, as I found it over powered with popper corns. Despite having a good service, the food taste wasn?t up to the mark, per my standard. I have better alternatives around the area.
