Rasa Flavours Of India - Halifax

One of the best food I had in Halifax, but the service was terrible. One of the people was vegetarian and they forgot to bring the vegetable dish. We had to get the person for everything we needed every time. I think they are trying to make fine food feel, but the service and the serving size has disappointed us, otherwise the food is really great. I wish they had given our guests better service.

Absolutely SUPERB!!! My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I first cried in Rasa tonight and we were blown away from the beginning to the end. The impeccable service, authentic, hearty meals (from beginners to desserts, delicious special drinks (Mango Lassi and Martini Espresso, laughing with our amazing server, the chef brings himself to our table and relaxing atmosphere, made our experience an unforgettable experience. Thank you to all fabulous employees who feel so welcome. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back...better than any spa house in Birmingham, England!

I write this honest review on 19. August 2022 after my lunch there with my family. I have read most previous negative comments, and I must say it is now a completely different place. I never thought that I would say about an Indian restaurant that it is not you regular run of the mill place, it is high quality and high quality food to fit. If you expect large portions or fast service, this is not the place. I would categorize it as a fine culinary experience. Each dish was fresh and very delicious. The food arrived about 30 minutes after the order. Her butter naan was super light and fluffy, other curries like Chicken korma and Mutton look Curry was also excellent. I will definitely recommend this place and visit it again. I expect this turnaround happened because the owner made sure everything was perfect.

We have dinner for 9 people. Mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. We've tried many Indian restaurants around the world. Taste and quality were good. Meat portions were disappointingly small, like 5 pieces of meat floating in the sauce for each meat dish. Definitely not up to par on this front and we got no good value for .
