Il Mercato Cafe Wine - Hallandale Beach

Did take out pick up order, little bit pricy but overall food was good. 2 out of 5 dishes were OK, so giving 4 stars. Probably will not do take out again from here but will try sit down 1 day. Portions are not huge.

So I finally had the chance to have dinner at Mercato last night with my sister, baby niece, brother in-law and friends. First the cook Emily cooks very well, I had the fish of the day that was grilled to perfection, the dish came with roasted potatoes and sauteed spinach, it was delicious. The owner(Emily´s husband) was so kind and friendly. We had a great bottle of rioja wine. I will definitely return(I hope) to try the pastas. This place is a true hidden gem, which usually are the best places to eat

The food was excellent as was the service. I applaud them for making the most of the space around them, it reminded me of the pop up restaurants in the evening on the streets in French villages. It would be great if there were a way to create a little more ambience outside but the new chairs are so much more comfortable. Thanks

Everything tasted great. Grilled artichokes, Pappardelle mushroom, and Lamb rack. Great service.

We went to the restaurant with high expectations because it was highly recommended. The food was terrible, the star dish which is the eggplant parmesan were nothing else but stewed eggplant in tomato sauce . The pasta sauce were a canned tomatoes pasta sauce with lots of capers... not a real recently cooked meal. Don't bother going there if you really want a taste of Italian food.
