Avaliação da contribuiçãoSolid food for what's there in the area is the best way to rank this place. Not bad at all.. but If there was competition could be better but the place appeared clean and the catfish was real not that cheap Asian knockoff (forget what it's called).... Kid-friendliness: Very much so. Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible. Service: Dine in
Myself and a coworker stopped in for lunch while in town. The cheeseburger I had was good and a healthly portion of fries. I was told the club was a good chew and the Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. The diner atmosphere and big windows made our eating experience very relaxing. Overall a good diner experience. If you’re ever on hwy 77 in Hallettsville, Texas stop on for a good experience.
This diner has a truck stop vibe, but lacking the waitstaff, which I found disappointing. You order at the counter and then someone delivers your meal, but it still feels a bit impersonal. The decor is quite charming, showcasing the classic diner aesthetic. The menu primarily features fried foods and burgers. I tried the chicken fried steak, which was made with actual steak rather than ground beef. It had a crispy breading, but the flavor was just average. Overall, it's a reliable option for a typical meal. I would consider dining here again.
The food was excellent, and we always dine here whenever we visit. I've never had a negative experience with either the food or the staff.
We had a fantastic stop on our way back from Rockport. My husband was quite hungry, but I really didn’t want to resort to fast food. Fortunately, we discovered this diner, and the food turned out to be quite tasty! The place was spotless, and the staff were very friendly.
