Avaliação da contribuiçãoNo huge buffet, but good and hot, price is right. Beautiful views right by the river we enjoyed our lunch and go back
4 adults for lunch. We all had the lunch buffet. Small buffet with 8 nice assortment of main entrees, two soups, boneless ribs, chicken wings, pork fried rice and vegetable noodles. Most entrees were still warm. Hot tea and water were given upon request. Other beverages were extra. Wait stuff only came by upon request to fill our drinks. Nice atmosphere, sunny and view of the Kennebec River. Wasn?t too loud to carry a conversation.
Nice ambience, terrific location overlooking the river, and genuinely terrific food. Out friends took us to Lucky Garden from over an hour away. They've been going there for more than ten years because they like it so much. There was an ownership change and my friends say the quality hasn't gone down at all. I had a Szechuan tofu dish right off the menu. It was very good and seemed entirely authentic (I lived a short time in Hong Kong but have never been to Szechuan Province; I have, however, spent a lifetime eating Chinese every chance I get). I found the vegetable dumplings to be a little dull; the wrapper, although a little thick, was perfectly flavored. My wife had mushu shrimp. It was delightful; the plum sauce was oddly thick, which that may be a regional variation, to but it had a great flavor. One of our friends ate from the buffet which I gather he always enjoys. The other had a steamed seafood assortment that she enjoyed very much. We will definitely be going back, commute and all. I couldn't recommend Lucky Garden more highly
Great service today from Jlo . They don 't have a lot of vegetarian options for their buffet so Jlo (nickname) our waitress ordered me some vegetarian egg rolls and rice. Making the buffet worth it. Food was delicious. And the service was fantastic!! Thank you!!
This is a casual Chinese place with optional buffet style service. The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was bright and pleasant. We came at lunchtime on Easter Sunday so business was rather quiet. The food was pretty good (though not exceptional) but you do get a lot for the price, especially if you do the buffet. Overall this is a solid stop for casual Asian dining
