Avaliação da contribuiçãoTo top it off, when I placed an order over $50, they refused to provide Sriracha sauce. I was given a lecture about the reasons behind this and the shortage, as if I wasn't already aware. I told the staff that I would just open all my containers and pour the sauce on myself if they wouldn't provide any. Only then did she offer me a single small to-go sauce cup, which I declined. It’s disappointing to be denied sauce as a paying customer, and I'm not sure if I’ll be returning.
Despite my enjoyment of the food, I rated them four stars due to the service issues. The food arrived quickly, but I struggled to get the waitresses' attention for a water refill or my check. I found myself staring at them as they scrolled on their phones, hoping to catch their eye. It felt almost like they were intentionally avoiding eye contact, which was quite frustrating. I would consider returning to this restaurant, but I would choose to pay with cash upfront to avoid any hassles with the service staff.
The BBQ pork with a fried egg served over rice is another highlight. It’s a savory yet sweet dish that you won’t regret trying. For a substantial appetizer, the assorted meat Banh Mi sandwiches come with generous portions that can easily satisfy one person. I particularly enjoyed the use of pâté and mayonnaise, which added a wonderful flavor. The vermicelli topped with pork skins and egg rolls is also worth mentioning; make sure to drizzle it with fish sauce to truly enhance the flavor. The fresh greens and mint give the dish a refreshing touch. Just a heads up: it’s a self-seating restaurant. While the staff may not be the most attentive, a polite request will always be welcomed.
The Vietnamese food was authentic, but the Vietnamese iced coffee was not great. Additionally, the service left much to be desired.
The food is delicious, but the customer service and receipt system leave much to be desired. The “receipt” only displays the total amount charged, which is confusing. Every time I visit, the total is always a round dollar figure, leaving me wondering about the change and tax. Are they rounding up or including a hidden tip in the total? Regardless, it's essential for customers to receive detailed receipts that clearly itemize the charges.
