Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe staff at this restaurant are friendly and helpful. The pickle tray and poppadoms were excellent. We both enjoyed the lamb tikka starter, which was very tender and delicious. The main dishes were tasty, especially when paired with special rice and fluffy keema naan.
This was by far the worst Indian meal we have ever had, and possibly the worst food overall. The pickle tray was not appetizing at all. When we inquired about the freshness of the chicken, we were assured it was cooked fresh, but it was clearly dry and pre-cooked. The "chef" approached our table during the meal to ask if it was cooked to our liking, but his sarcastic demeanor and lack of concern for other tables was off-putting. The rice was subpar, with cauliflower in the vegetable pilau rice. The masala sauce resembled watered-down ketchup, and the lamb rogan josh was tough and unappetizing. Overall, the food was incredibly disappointing.
We visited a nice restaurant with very polite and well-mannered staff. Sal, our server, welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. However, we were disappointed by the chef who prepared our delicious meal. It was off-putting to see him drinking beer while serving food to customers, which we found disrespectful.
The first and last time I will ever go. Utterly disappointed with the food, the lack of respect and the atmosphere here was atrocious. Number one, the food was cold, I ordered a butter chicken and it was very watery. Number two, when going to get the bill, I was greeted with anger and rudeness which I received from who I assume is the owner. I wouldn’t go there again and personally you could find a better curry in your local iceland freezer.
Just had a fantastic meal at the Gulshan fabulous food and excellent service will certainly be back
