Hamburger Elbspeicher

Accidentally ended here looking for a place to eat for a short time along the river promenade. this had a tempting menu and sits right at the river with a good view of the harbour area, with the occasional huge ship sailing past....The eating more than lived up to expectations, and was really excellent. it is to be noted that this (I believe) is above all a seafood restaurant and had only one of us fish, but the heck was really excellent, like the stroganoff and mixed grill plate. the service was also impeccable. I'd like to go back here.

Service politely eat ingenious and location top. I like this restaurant, but sometimes it is very busy here.

The phrase that I used most in this week is speak English please? my German is niche. that really didn't play a role here, as the staff after a few pilgern spoke better English than I! a birthday visit here with the other half...was definitiw the right choice. the location was right on the water, and the intention was great. the food was delivered really fast and very tasteful. I had garnel the busum, which came with a kind of painted brot, which was very different in taste and the garnels well complicated. for the main course went the other half for the fish plate elbspeicher, which I think is the subscript court. it consists of filet of hecht perch, lachsfilet and kabeljau with a grilled king grilled in carcinoma sauce with spinat and Provençal kartoffeln. I had the lachsfilet, fried on the skin, with potato tomato-Chali-Puree and a beautiful mixed musalate. everything was perfectly boiled, hot (except the salad naturally) and very, very tasty. we would not have asked for better food. a nice note was also a shot of schnapps as we had gone before we went into a cool march evening went very well appreciated. thanks to the staff that we feel like at home, and also with my due try to help in the local language! we will come back later in the year and definitely book again here!

The great one here is the one you have on the harbour. we booked in advance and decided to sit in the seat. the food was good and the service was decent. I ordered steak as main course and the typical court for hamburg, labskaus as an appetizer....In fact, it was. you can't go wrong here. if they are lucky, they will even find a parking space in front of the restaurant.

Good thing we were not in a hurry, but still, 2.5 hours for a meal with an appetizer and without dessert was just too much. This seems to be an ongoing problem and the owners need to do something about it.....
