I sung here with my partner on my birthday. we sat outside on the terrace and the location with views of the elbe river was wonderful. this evening we caught a beautiful sunset. the only part of our al fresco dining experience was the great number of...wasps that were a real stubborn. we ordered both from the a la carte menu, decide to start lobster and turbot for our main course. the lobster star (who was a generous part) was one of the best I ever had. it came with a cured hollandaise dressing, samosas and a lobster broth. I would never have thought to prepare lobster so much, but it was absolutely sensational. as it is common for fine restaurants, we have brought a series of bonus courses, including some delicious potato bread and soft cheese. the restaurant has an extensive wine menu with a limited number of wines offered by the glass. we had a glass of champagne, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, which was one of the more reasonable bottles on the menu at 75 €. the personal was very professional, but that sometimes came to form. we were too full of dessert, but one of the female waiters insisted on bringing us some free chocolates that was a very nice note. for the colder/weather sonata, the interior dining room is very nice. we took a preordered taxi to and from the restaurant from the center of hamburg, which cost about 60 € for the round trip, including tipp.

We enjoyed our evening but compare as for how with the haerlin the fairmont it did not miss, service was perfunctory and eating was satisfactory

What a surprise! so far best in Germany, far better than 3 star restaurant in the country we visited the last few years. excellent environment, service and excellent food quality. excellent wine card. we chose the menu 2 there are 2 fixed menus and of course...a la carte menu . X-a plus to sommelier florian recommended!

Excellent food and service. A must visit while you’re in Hamburg. This was a top score from the start until the end.
