Avaliação da contribuiçãoVery family friendly as we came with two young boys with a total of 6 people. meal was good but service a bit slow. We ordered mostly burgers and pub food. Although basic, all was well done to order.
Our first place in Canada to eat. First problem, my wife asked for unsweetened iced tea. This got the waitress so in a confused state, the next thing we notice we have a new waitress. This one good, probably because she had a US boyfriend and understood what we were asking for. Food in Canada is not cheap and here is no exception. Chicken Parmesan for my wife was $18.50 CDN and my Fajitas were $22 CDN. So dinner with tip is $65. Not cheap for average food. The Fajitas were good as was my wife's chicken but also not cheap. Service worked out well.
We were greeted and seated promptly and shortly after our server took drink orders which arrived in a reasonable time for a Saturday night. We each ordered a different item off the menu - Buffalo chicken wrap, Burger & Beef Barley soup, Blackened Basa filets with a guacamole topping and a Seafood pasta (Jumbo Shrimps & Scallops). Each was enjoyed and plates pretty much cleaned. The only observations on the pasta were the scallops were small but shrimps definitely jumbo and having a garlic toast with it was an extra charge! A "Fire & Ice" desert was ordered and shared - an ice cream ball the size of a softball coated in a cinnamon flavored crumb coating deep fried and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce - yummy. Service was friendly and attentive.
We were here as a group of 8 for a family birthday celebration. The server was very friendly and pretty attentive. The food was delicious, although I found it a little pricy for comparable dishes at other restaurants. The summer drinks menu was great - we all tried something different and my mother-in-law loved their bourbon drinks.
3 generations from age 3 to 63 enjoyed the venue and the fare. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was good although the Salmon salad was small. Bison burgers were good, fries firm and the onion rings were large and not soggy.
