Landgasthof Anker - Hanau

A relaxed lunch after a visit to the nearby museum. Intimate cabin seats. Service was polite, but don't pay attention to any English menu. Also not all employees speak English. The food was freshly prepared at a relaxed pace. The chicken cure was mild (to care for local flavors)... and the mixed grill and beef steak were well executed. Only cash accepted.

I went there with some colleagues from the area and I must say that the recommendation was well justified. The prices are fair as for the rest of the area, and the location is beautiful. Traditional decor and good service. Food is excellent quality and there is a good selection of drinks and digestive agents.

Our German friend who lives in Hanau recommended this restaurant and no wonder. Delicious, fresh kitchen at a very good price. Excellent carvings and supplements. Restaurant has a cozy interior; and also has outdoor seating. We're coming back!
