Great chippy. great price. I have to stop regularly as I only drive the road.

Best fish n chips in harrogate in my humiliating opinion.

The best broken squid I had for years! delicious, fresh, perfectly boiled fish and excellent crispy teig. very friendly service.

I had a pleasant experience dining at Drakes Restaurant on Wednesday evening. It was nice to see new staff working and the restaurant was clean. The food was great and the waitress, Karen, was friendly and always had a smile on her face, creating a cheerful atmosphere. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend a visit to anyone.

I went with my 6 year old daughter this evening to the restaurant. The lady who served us was really lovely. She seemed to go that extra mile with my daughter. Showed my daughter all the Christmas decorations and let her play with them. The starter of the chicken goujons was really nice, enough for me and my daughter to share. Kids meal was very good value, she had a burger chips and ice cream. I had the fish, chips and gravy. The fish was nice, the chips were really rubbish (overcooked and mostly the scraps at the bottom). Was really disappointed with the chips especially because in the past they have been really good. The restaurant was a bit cold, the radiator was barely on. I kind of understand with electricity costs being as they are. If the chips were better then I would say it is definitely great value. I would have given a 3 for the food. But the lady serving us was fantastic and amazing with my daughter so that is the reason I have given a 4
