Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe came here for my mums birthday lunch and it was lovely. The food was really great as was the service!
Consistently enjoy trips to Mackenzies always plan to eat something different as many lovely plates of food are served but I invariably stick to the fish platter or seafood sandwich, both generously proportioned and really tasty. Easy, friendly atmosphere and good service. The food...and gift departments also recommended!
MacKenzies is five star in all respects: It is in a lovely area of North Yorkshire; It has ample, good parking; It has an excellent range of shopping via fresh meat and vegetables, deli produce and giftware. We had booked a table for breakfast and...were met by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to a table in the conservatory. We both chose the Full English which ticked the simple but essential three boxes for me re a good cooked breakfast, ie top quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. As breakfasts go this is as good as it gets, and as well as being delicious it was substantial enough to deem further food later on in the day pretty much redundant. From a cooking point of view the food was flawless and the only suggestion I could possibly make is that large plates would be more practical from the diner’s perspective as I found it awkward to eat from the bowls they use which, although a good size, still weren’t quite roomy enough for the large breakfast. Service throughout was top class and the feeling you get here is of a real desire to make the customer feel special. And it works!
This place was signposted on the A59 so we thought we’d visit and followed the directions. It is situated on Hardisty Hill, just short of a mile from the A59. We had a fabulous breakfast at the restaurant lots of choice on the menu,...with something for everyone. We chose the Farm shop big breakfast everything was freshly prepared and the homemade rosti was incredible and the best we have ever tasted. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully set out and every member of staff we met was courteous and genuinely friendly. We live in Sheffield but intend to revisit this cafe every time we visit Skipton or Harrogate. Kim and David
