Empanadas Monumental - Haverstraw

The Philly empanada is my favorite, the service was great. Smoothies/shakes taste so good and are fresh. Great spot and it's affordable :

The ground beef Ground Beef Empanada tasted like it was old, and recooked and smelled like armpit.. I threw it out in the garbage The Shredded Beef Empanada and Shredded Chicken Empanada were ok/good enough if you are starving

I've always loved their empanadas but was excited to try some new items like the chicken mofonguitos and salchipapas. Everything arrived quickly and piping hot!

I had such high hopes. The Cachapa Chicken tasted like it was cooked in a dirty pan, the chicken Shredded Chicken Empanada was cold and the filling was pale and flavorless. The Chicken Rikitaki came with beef instead. The cabbage was wilted and soggy, it was a worse version of a chopped cheese. The servers were nice.

The smoothies are always fresh!
