Avaliação da contribuiçãoDuring a quick stop in Hawes for a coffee, we stumbled upon this place. We initially planned to just grab a drink since we had already eaten, but the menu outside advertised a few vegan options that caught our eye. Upon entering, we noticed they had vegan cakes such as carrot and lemon drizzle, so we ordered our drinks along with a slice of each cake. Both cakes were delicious, and the tea was served with either soy or almond milk. The decaffeinated coffee was also fantastic. Although we didn't try anything else on the menu, the cakes we had were truly excellent. The waitress informed us that all the cakes were made on-site and that the chef was vegan, so we can only imagine that other menu items are of a similarly high standard.
I tried the sticky ginger cake and lemon drop cake at this restaurant. They did not have milk for coffee, but they did offer soy as an alternative.
I recently tried a fantastic salad bowl at this restaurant, which included hardened rice, butter beans, and potato salad. The dish was completely vegan and very fulfilling. They also offer a few other vegan lunch options. I enjoyed a coffee with milk and saw some delicious looking vegan cakes on display. The restaurant is dog-friendly and offers free wifi. I highly recommend this lovely cafe for anyone looking for vegan options. The staff were friendly and I noticed that many people were asking about their vegan choices. The restaurant also has a clean restroom with baby changing facilities. Updated review as of July 9, 2022.
During the stop in Hawes for a fast coffee found this place. We decided because the menu outside had a few vegan main meals, but we had eaten early, so just a drink really wanted. Once on the counter we noticed several vegan cakes including carrot and also a lemon drizzle, so we ordered our drinks and a piece of each. Both cakes were divine and the tea was good, served with soy or almond milk, while the decaffeinated coffee was just great. Of course we can't come to the wider food, but the cakes we tried were really excellent. The waitress told us that they were all made on the grounds and that the cook was vegan, so I would expect other offers to be of a similar excellent standard.
I had a very impressive salad bowl (hardened rice, butter beans, potato salad etc.), which was all vegan and super filling (there are also some other vegan lunch options. Enjoy a coffee with oat milk and there are a few vegan cakes that look delicious. It is also dog-friendly with free Wi-Fi. Vegan food can be difficult to come in these parts so would definitely recommend this beautiful cafe. I noticed that some people come to ask about vegan options. The staff is also very friendly. Also has a really clean loo with baby change facilities. Updated by previous review on 2022-07-09
