I always loved coming to this place with my son. I am so sad to see this place close. Have been coming here for years and it was always welcoming. Damn that Wabba Grill right next to it. Cant do it somewhere else and to invade and take away my Aloha Teriyaki. Really sad.
I'm not sure why Hasser Aloha Teriyaki receives bad ratings; perhaps some people just don't have a discerning palate. They might be better off sticking to Jack in the Box. Speaking of which, while they do have a decent chicken teriyaki bowl, it simply can't compare to Aloha Teriyaki. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate, along with some other dishes, reminiscent of the restaurant she used to run years ago at Lakewood Mall. All I can say is YUM! We're in the USA, and it's not easy to find such a delicious teriyaki sauce. I'm heading to Ontario, CA, and will be staying for a few days. I'll drive 53 miles to Hawthorne just to get their food. I absolutely love it! Plus, the staff is incredibly nice. If you're reading this and you're a hundred or even a thousand miles away, make the trip to taste the food; you won't regret it. You won't find another teriyaki place like this anywhere else in the USA!
The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly, and there was plenty of seating available. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ranging from burgers and sandwiches to chicken and beef teriyaki bowls, among other choices. The prices were very reasonable. I wanted to rate this place five stars, but unfortunately, my meat patty was burnt, giving it an unusual flavor that I wasn't expecting. I hope they can avoid that next time. Despite this, I would definitely return!
The portions are substantial, and I always enjoy coming here when I'm nearby. I often buy extra to take home to my family in New York.
