Avaliação da contribuiçãoThought we found a winner. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food at Bogie's Hoagies. First, I rarely tag a small business with less than a 4 star, I know how hard it is and the hours someone puts into their business. The store looks inviting, is clean inside and is double the size of a deli because they serve pizza and have a deli. I'm not tagging them for the wait to order or time it took to get our food. This is strictly on the quality of the food. Ordered a turkey hero and a crispy chicken cutlet hero. Again looked good the preparation table was clean and tidy. But the heros where just awful. Did take out to a nearby park. The hero bread was lifeless white bread. The turkey was not plentiful. It was a lettuce and bread sandwich on bad bread. The chicken cutlets were ok, they had a heavy batter on them. Everything needed something either more cheese or the bread to be toasted something to make it more edible. Spent over $21 for two half size heroes and most went in the trash.
This was my spot for so many years. Lately the portions have been shrinking and prices going up. Sign of the times. This place was packed all the time and now not so much. Still hits the spot when I need a sub.
Best sandwiches hands down. Fresh bread, tons of toppings and staff are super friendly!
Outstanding food and value. UPDATE Had the pizza, OUTSTANDING
Great sandwiches, but the prices are through the roof. I paid $50.00 for two subs. The following week I bought two Subs the same size at Troops in Clifton, and paid $20.00.
