The Beach - Palm Cove - Haycock Island

The venue is cute and the live band makes a great atmosphere. The drinks are reasonably priced and the view to the beach is nice. The fish n chips cost and I do not recommend them at that price.

Small restaurant with friendly staff waiter (owner) ? made friendly conversation with us.. we ordered a serving of each of the dumplings offered and chicken wings the chicken wings were delicious, the dumplings had minimal filling and were undercooked except for one lot that appeared...the same as the others but were burnt on the underside..when informed the manager apologised and brought another serving with no charge..a dish quoted as marinated sliced beef and vegetables came out as a pub type braised beef and veg ? was expecting Asian stir fry

Have been to Palm Cove times but this was the first we had tried The Beach and couldn't understand why we hadn't before!! Truly a great couple of nights...yes we went back for another meal after our first. Whole fish is a specialty and...you need to try it! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, restaurant is at the the end of the Esplanade near the Caravan Park but trust me it is worth the walk you won't be disappointed! Friendly and helpful staff as well

I had my here and we had a fantastic day at the Beach Bar. Amazing food, great tunes and cool vibe. Brian looked after us so well. We would highly recommend for a Sunday session or a function!

Found The Beach restaurant totally empty initially couldn't find anyone then the waitress came running and we settled all of us on a rustic wooden table and enjoyed a very satisfying casual meal with much frivolity and humour. The food was very nice and...satisfying
