Based on zomato recommendations I ordered the Lil Kim, and note that the menu on zomato is outdated - all burgers and wraps are listed as $13 (may 2017) so they must have gone through a recent menu change. The Lil Kim was good!!! The chicken was crispy and .... definitely deep fried, but whatever it was worth it. The kimchi worked very well in the burger, and the carrots made me feel a little healthier. It was quite hard to eat though as the contents kept spilling out. The restaurant's interior has a strong, bright aesthetic which I love too!
Visited here as had a craving for some chicken. I got served quickly as there was no one waiting. A serving of Fried Chicken Tenders (Make 'Em Sticky) was ordered and made in a quick smart time. I loved the delicious glaze that coats the juicy and crispy chicken tenders.
I ordered the Juicy Lucy burger and the drummettes with the special spicy sauce. Burger was not bad but it started to turn into mush fast because the bun was starting to infuse with the chicken and became a mess. The highlight was the drummettes and that sauce!! The drummetes were crazy crunchy with some seasoning already on top (a think some spring onion, garlic powder?) and then pair with the special spicy sauce that you can get at the counter, that sauce was all kinds of amazing. It reminded me of something you'd eat at a southeast asian restaurant.
We got food delivered - fried chicken and burrito, couldn't fault it, couldn't have asked for a crispier or juicier fried chicken, burrito was really nice we joked it was better than most mexican places we've been to, can't wait to go and dine in next time, I highly recommend it to anyone who craves crispy fried goods every once in a while ;)
I was recommended the lil Kim burger. It was texturally sound, nice crispy chicken, soft brioche bun, but unfortunately it just lacks flavour. Not enough mayo for my liking and the sauce is too sweet, so overall it is unbalance and the Kim chi, which should be the highlight, is ineffective. It's got the making of a great burger , it's really close. The green papya salad on the other hand was great.
