The serving sizes at this restaurant are generous, but so are the prices compared to other places in Chinatown. The food is tasty, especially the curries which are addictive, but the tom yum soup isn't as spicy as expected, likely to cater to Australian palates. Our only complaint was that the waitress had difficulty understanding our orders, requiring us to repeat ourselves several times. Overall, the service was mostly efficient and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot for dinner.
I have visited Satang Thai on Quay Street before, so I had high expectations for the food and service. The food was still excellent, with large portions that were tasty and delicious. However, the service was lacking as we had to wait approximately 30 minutes for our food, which consisted mainly of curry rice and fried noodles. The menu was extensive, but most of the dishes were ones I had already tried. Overall, while Satang is a decent place to visit, there are many other quality Thai restaurants nearby that have left a more lasting impression on me.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Sydney. Very good food, staff very friendly, and quality 5 star. Always happy to have a dinner here.
My favorite Thai place in the town! I highly recommand the place, they are so friendly! And the red curry is simply amazing! There are lots of choice.
