Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat service and very nice atmosphere. cheeks: 5/5 omakase: 3.5/5 (inventive and creatiw, but could bring about better fish quality. wasn't really a wow court. give them a 5-star rating due to star service. everyone was really friendly and stylish in the way they welcome and acknowledge them.
I would definitely return to this restaurant since I live nearby. It's a great sushi spot with a variety of options, including non-raw dishes, and a spacious interior with a nice outdoor area. The sake selection is good and the prices are reasonable. The beer patio is charming, as others have mentioned. The miso soup was delicious and served hot with tofu and seaweed. The tea was brewed in a pot and they provided extra water without being asked. The chirashi dish was beautifully presented, with fresh and flavorful fish and well-seasoned rice. The omakase nigiri was also fresh and tasty, with some pieces having unique flavors like yuzu or green tea. However, the agadashi tofu was a miss as the sauce didn't complement the bland tofu well. The bathrooms were clean but not the most aesthetically pleasing. Overall, the restaurant offers good food at a fair price and I enjoyed my experience there.
I haven't been to Kokyo Sushi Buffet in years, but based on my recent visit, I had a great experience. The servers were friendly and the food was amazing. The sushi was of high quality and every bite was enjoyable. The prices were also very reasonable. I look forward to returning in the future.
We visited this restaurant twice and both times it was not too busy, allowing us to be seated right away. The terrace is charming, with white flowing curtains and hanging string lights. The waiter was attentive and our food arrived promptly. We ordered the sashimi, which included hamachi, blue fin tuna, and salmon. The fish was fresh and delicious. We also tried the cherry blossom roll, which was small and unappealing. The scallop king roll was tasty, with baked mayo adding a nice flavor. The unagi don was well-presented with miso soup, salad, and tempura on the side. The atmosphere and service were good, but the food was mediocre and expensive. It was disappointing to see the prices increase within a month.
Hinata is a relatively new establishment (took over another sushi joint) and was such a fine treat! The Santa Cruz uni was so fresh and tasty, every piece of omakase nigiri was divine, and the wagyu nigiri might possibly be one of the best things I've tasted this year. The bill wasn't pretty, but service was attentive, and their sake selection was nice.
