Avaliação da contribuiçãoWas told the wait would be 30 mins but ended up being a hour. While waiting cold pizza for my daughter. no apology and no reason for the delay wasn't busy. Got home to find chow mein had no noodles at all-very odd meal. Will not be back
We often have preconceived notions about how food should be prepared. For example, the satay entree at this restaurant did not come with peanut sauce, which was a bit surprising to me. However, the beef was beautifully cooked and tender, and there was nothing left of it. The omelette was good, but the pork was even better. I would definitely go back again. By the way, they are open on Monday nights!
A fairly large restaurant. Looks fresh and recently refurbished. Did a roaring trade in takeaways whilst we were there. Tasting the food for the first time, I can understand why their take away is so popular. Very fresh, well cooked and truly delicious. I may have to make it my local for Chinese now. We shared the Plum Duck, Mongolian Lamb, Chilli Beef and Garlic Seafood. All were wonderful. The squid was cooked to perfection and the prawns were large and plentiful. Generous serves for all dishes. If you like Australian style Chinese, this is the place!
I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our recent experience. The decor is dingy and the staff not very attentive. The mixed entrees were all fried or perhaps even re-fried. They were terrible. The mains we had were better but hardly outstanding. We wont be back unless we are satisfied that the standards have improved.
We have been visiting this restaurant for over 30 odd years. Still the original owners who recognise us as soon as we walk in. We have never had a bad meal here. It’s certainly a little hidden gem.
