Cast Cafe - Helston

The atmosphere of the restaurant, both inside and outside, is very pleasant with a beautiful garden. The amenities are good, including a spotless disabled toilet. The restaurant is clean and has character. However, the main drawback is the limited menu with limited food options. The food offered is fresh, locally produced, and good quality, but there is not much choice and no flexibility for variations. The breakfast menu, while cooked well and nicely presented, lacks options such as porridge, croissants, or a variety of sandwiches. The prices are high and the homemade cakes are disappointing. The staff is helpful, pleasant, and polite. It's a nice place for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and is mostly geared towards adults, although children are welcome. Limited parking is available and the restaurant is conveniently close to town. Wheelchair accessibility is possible but the ramp is steep. Overall, the restaurant has a rating of 3 for food quality, 4 for service, and 4 for atmosphere. Sourdough toast is recommended, and there are some vegetarian options available but not extensive.

I’ve been to Cast cafe four times in the past three weeks (a tad obsessed at this point) and I can safely say it’s my new favourite place to eat and drink! The food has always been excellent and the coffee is an absolute delight, plus the staff are always welcoming and friendly too. I invited some friends down with me the last few times and now they’re waxing lyrical too. All in all a really cool little place, looking forward to our next visit for poached eggs and chorizo! My favourite coffee, breakfast and lunch spot in Helston. Yallah coffee brewed to perfection! Mikey and the team are lovely and go out of their way to look after you. Great vibes all round! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
