Fantastic evening, friendly staff, great atmosphere

I wanted to use the promotion from Heineken on Monday 28.8.2023. (Residents of England 18+ only. One voucher per person during the promotion. Participating venues only. Offer available from 04.09.23 – 01.10.23) . It was one of the last of this promotion, but the bar staff had no clue how to process it. I would recommend more staff training in this pub. Fortunately I had more luck in The Victoria pub in St Albans the next day, lovely staff and smooth transaction.

This charming beer garden is located just off the canal towpath. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and dogs are welcome. Price per person: £40–50. Ratings: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5. Recommended dishes include the scampi and chips and the turkey Sunday roast dinner.
