Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is probably one of the best Chinese food restaurant in New Hampshire, no joke. I come here very often and I live all the way down in Massachusetts. Would totally recommend! Staff is very nice too!
I only come here for the peking ravioli, because they are the BEST I have ever had! THe service is great and friendly, and the food is always fresh.
I live in southern California but visit New Hampshire often and was quite surprised to find such a great Chinese restaurant up here! The General Tso's tofu is amazing! And the vegetables are always cooked to perfection! The staff is friendly and the service is great! Every familly member chooses Gin Gins for his or her birthday dinner and that makes the rest of us happy too! We all LOVE Gin Gins!
I guess I shouldn't expect too much from a Chinese restaurant this far up into New Hampshire, but I was still disappointed. On the plus side, the scallion pancakes were good, as were the chicken wings. I had the spicy and salty shrimp, and it wasn't at all what I expected. I've had this dish and gotten whole shrimp with shells on and I've gotten lightly battered shrimp, but usually you can expect some chopped chili peppers to give the dish some heat. At Gin Gin, I got a hard, crunchy batter and no spice at all, other than maybe some black pepper. My wife had the Mongolian beef, and it was coated in a thick sweet sauce. If she had wanted something that tasted like General Tso's chicken, she would have ordered it. My son had the pan-fried noodles and only managed a few bites. Probably the entree at our table that I enjoyed the most was the moo shi pork, and that was mostly cabbage. But I spooned on some hoisin sauce and wrapped everything in a pancake, and it was pretty good. To be fair, the staff who served us were all very nice and friendly, and if you stick to Chinese-American standards, like fried rice or lo mein, you might do just fine. But I didn't even want to take home the leftovers, and as I almost always take them home, that is saying a lot.
