Avaliação da contribuiçãoReally nice, friendly, atmospheric pub. welcome. eating is delicious. excellent decoration and love to detail. to feed again this week before we leave the united kingdom.
Purely by chance we booked the gazebo for our evening meal as the pub itself was fully booked. It turned out for us, to be the best table in the house (or rather outside of it). There is a wood burner to keep you warm, which you can keep topped up. It had it's own charm and was very comfortable and spacious. The pub also provided a blue tooth speaker so we could play our own music to add to our wonderful experience. We were well catered for and the staff were very attentive (especially as they were short staffed). The food was lovely too. I would recommend eating here.
Had a very decent lunch here, midweek and it was still pretty busy. Either a good local reputation or good Goggle reviews, or both! The menu looked very good so we had starters, mains and a dessert; all of them very good presentation and equally tasty. Main are around £17 to £18 pounds and for a family of 3 including drinks the bill was around £100 which was worth it. Fantastic food, good friendly service and interesting decor, all in all a great lunch and we'd happy return or stop again. Booking would be recommended seeing how busy they were. My partner's feedback is not enough wines sold by the glass and my only request during the meal was more bread for chicken parfait, one small slice of brioche was not enough for one large delicious looking slice of parfait. We still left very happy!
Great service and outstanding food. Quite possibly the best roast dinner I have ever had.
