Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had high hopes for The Garage, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. It felt more like a one-time visit rather than a place I'd want to return to. The wait times are absolutely terrible, and it seems to be a constant issue. We tried to dine here three separate times before actually getting a table. When we inquired, they informed us that they don’t take reservations or offer call-ahead seating. For instance, on a Saturday at 8 PM, we faced a two-hour wait for a party of two, and on a Wednesday at 6 PM for a party of four, the wait was over an hour. Ultimately, we finally managed to eat there on a Thursday.
After seeing other reviews, I was worried about coming here on Memorial Day without a reservation, but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. Any brewery that serves sour beer gets my approval, and theirs was delicious! My friends ordered a few appetizers; I didn't sample the onion rings, but they looked appetizing. The shishito peppers were lightly battered and fried, served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I would describe them as flavorful rather than spicy, but it may vary for others. I ordered the brisket.
This was my second visit, and once again, the food was incredible. The atmosphere here is truly unbeatable. Our meals arrived hot, fresh, and in a timely manner. I ordered the Gumbo while my wife had the Salmon, and everyone else in our group loved their dishes just as much. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have a bit more sauce on the gumbo. I can't wait to return and introduce this wonderful place to friends and family visiting from out of town.
We started with pretzels and spinach artichoke dip, both of which were delicious. I expected a few smaller pretzels, so I was surprised (in a good way!) when a giant one was served. I appreciated the options on the kids' menu but wished there was a “kinderburger” available. We also ordered the Mustang Burger and sushi rolls. The burger was fantastic and I would definitely order it again. The sushi was quite good, especially for a grill restaurant. However, for the same price, I've tasted better fish elsewhere, so I’m not sure if I'd seek out the sushi again. That said, if your family can't decide where to eat, Garage Grill has something for everyone. The quality versus cost seemed reasonable, and overall, we enjoyed our visit. Child-friendly: There's a wide range of choices on the children's menu, catering to both adventurous and more reserved eaters. Parking: Convenient parking is available at the restaurant.
We really enjoy the Garage Grill in Herriman and are thrilled about the new location in our area! They have a fantastic atmosphere with a focus on running and a collective automotive environment. The food is excellent, and we love the online booking system, which made it simple to organize our party of 11.
