A Jewel of a pub when I'm honest. a village pub, in the middle of almost nowhere, that is open and served all day on a Monday! do not find many of these days, more is the candy. Now, what makes this pub even more of a rareness, is that she can cook a chef that can cook a steak to absolute perfection. my son and I both had the rumpsteak, his boiled medium and mine, rare. a birthday contract as he is 21 in a week. it is always a massive risk of ordering a steak that is rarely cooked when you do not know the quality of the meat, in a pub that I never had before. I will now say that I will like to drive for an hour to have another. Oh, her guinness is also decent.

Great little pub, limited menu. Would recommend booking for food as we'd booked a table when asking for menus were told they'd need to check the kitchen would accept the order. Self service food bookings at the bar, no waitress service.

This was our first visit to this amazing pub, located in a beautiful village. The warm welcome, excellent service, and delightful food and drinks we enjoyed made the evening truly special. This pub is a true gem, and I can't wait to return! Fantastic experience!
