The Hydro Cafe - High Peak

I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant but decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service. The fish and chips were delicious and well worth the money. I was also impressed to learn that the restaurant is charitable. I highly recommend this gem in Derbyshire and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

The food is excellent, and the menu offers something for everyone's taste. There is a bar where my wife and I ordered a delicious chardonnay to pair with our meal. We ended up staying for almost 2 hours, as the staff took great care of us and time seemed to fly by. The young manager even came to speak with us, and was charming and popular with our female companions and other diners. Overall, this café and restaurant are of a very high standard and we will definitely be returning. Well done to all of you!

It’s was always a great place to eat but this weekend meal wasn’t as good and the Selection of food especially vegetarian was very poor. Plates were far too large food look lost on the plates. The big bug I have is the scissors in...the condiments holder, my concern is this could be a risk.

Large eating and vegan friendly eating, and especially dogs are allowed to even make a menu for the dog if I lived in buxton instead of south london I would be here every day
