They have a great selection of drinks on tap, but unfortunately, their menu is lacking options and the dining area was very untidy. The prices are also not budget-friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
This pub has a really cool vibe with beautiful decor. They offer events like birthday parties and pop quizzes. The quiz was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian burger with fries.
Tim and I recently visited The Castle in Tooting for Sunday lunch as part of our exploration of local pubs and restaurants. This time, we were joined by my mum, who was visiting for the weekend and was our first official guest in our new home. I was a bit nervous, as my mum is known for her epic Sunday roasts back in Yorkshire, but I was excited to show her some great Sunday dinner spots in our area.
After I had visited this in tooting for a Sunday dinner, I felt compelled to write a review. I had booked one of their huts outside for 5 people, but at the arrival saw that despite booking for eating the tables were not together or even hired – we even had a few in the hut, although we asked for a private one! we asked to be moved in instead, and the dinge seemed to go badly to worse, while our seat the waiter announced that it was a delay of "over an hour" for our food! I couldn't believe we were absolutely starving and were now told that we had to wait a ridiculous time just to order a roasted meal! the headkeeper came by to explain...read more
