Farmers Bakery - Highland

Found this place on Foursquare as I was traveling through. It's a hidden gem not to be missed! Wonderful southern food with a twist. My kids even loved it. Desserts!!! Has a buffet at lunch too.

Chicken and waffle meal is great also try the strawberry cheese cake I loved it

I miss the old Farmers Restaurant's apple butter on rolls and corn bread. But other than that, the barbecue bacon burger was phenomenal and mashed potatoes and gravy were delightful as well.

What happened?. What happened to the restaurant we liked to bring visiting family and friends to for a meal. It's now another fast food place. Goodbye Farmers, hello Broadway Bar and Grill. Good food, real plates, AND waitresses.

Wow what great food and the desserts ... Especially the chocolate coconut pie! Large servings with reasonable prices!
