The best restaurant in Ruislip!! Amazing interpersonal skills from the staff

Last time we attended Ora we had a great meal, this time it was poor , my wife had prawns there were 4 prawns at £7.95, wrong. For main I had roast beef, my wife had burger, my beef was chewy, I did state this to the waitress who replied you should have asked how you wanted it rare or medium, in my opinion the waitress should have asked me how I wanted my beef, the vegetables were nice but a very small portion, the potatoes tasted as though they had been reheated , the waitress cleared my wife’s starter before I had finished, my Yorkshire pudding was soggy, Im sorry but did not enjoy my experience this time, my wife thought the burger she had for mains was poor last time my wife had the burger she said it was the best she had had, we were not asked if we wanted any sauces, the owners were good but the waitress seemed inexperienced . Very disappointed.

First time saw reviews was looking forward to meal Limited menu which is not a problem but is when 3 if the choices are not available 3 of us had steak one was so fatty it was in edible when I complained waiter took away and returned same steak recooked joke ordered fries with mains turned up 16 mins later ordered drinks didn’t turn up at all overall I would avoid

The gin cured salmon with dill sauce exceptional Sunday roast big all freshly freshly cooked great value great service excellent quality of food family run restaurant staff are lovely

Absolutely delicious with great staff. The turnip soup and confit duck was amazing. Nice family run restaurant Best meal out I've had in months
