Service spotty with a couple of drink and food orders mixed up, but it all worked out in the end. Basically ordered a bunch of small plates which were very good, chicken tinga, gyoza, steamed buns all good, street corn the best. Short rib grilled cheese tasty but grossly overpriced. Granddaughter had a side of mashed potatoes that were terrible, fries were much better. They had a trivia contest that was fun.
Stopped in for a bite to eat with a friend. We both had the NY Strip steak with fresh Brussel sprouts and a red wine/ sake reduction. It was amazing. Chef Eric came out to describe all the new foods available prior to us ordering, and after out meal we stayed for trivia night which was well attended and fun! Great night out!
We had a fabulous experience tonight at Toro in Hilton Head. The chef, Eric, served us four courses of his choice. They were all fabulous. Very delicious and unique. The wine and desserts were fantastic. And much to our surprise,it was affordable! The server, Debbie, made us feel special and we will not forget our evening at Toro. We will come back again as this was an evening to remember!
Eclectic delicious food in coligny. The gyoza and chicken tinga were our favorite dishes out of the 6 starters our group shared. The service was quite slow but the owners were very friendly and checked in regularly. They also had Karaoke on Tuesday and there were a lot of regulars that came right before it started.
The tacos were great. We had the sampler tacos plate with the ahi tuna, bulgogi beef, chicken tinga and garlic shrimp and all of them had great flavor! The only downside is that the drinks were just okay. Not busy for an off season Sunday dinner. We’ll be back next visit!
