Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy partner and I ordered the Mediterranean swordfish and double ranch USDA prime bacon cheddar burger, plus the cider spice mule and Athletic Brewing upside down near beer TASTE: 3/5 expected more from the swordfish itself, though really enjoyed the huge gigante beans and tomato stew. The burger was tasty w a well seasoned beef patty, smoked bacon, and mayonnaise y coleslaw TEXTURE: 4/5 the swordfish was tender and meaty, and the burger's side of fries were thick cut and crisp PRICE: 3/5 have been to other Legal locations before so I knew the price points, but my disappointment in the swordfish made its $38 cost feel worse lol. Burger was $19 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 good portions for dinner SERVICE: 4/5 walked in at 5:15pm on a Friday and about half the tables were available. We were seated quickly, and were offered bread butter while reviewing the menu. After ordering, our drinks came out 10min later and the food came out 15min after ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 knew the space was renovated fairly recently but had never been inside before. The interior felt modern nautical, spacious, and brighter than expected PARKING: 5/5 plenty of parking in the Derby Street Shops plaza
Reservation made for six at six. Open spaces were great to see, no tight spaces or tables in the way. Three people using canes, seated comfortably. We know what they sell, so I shared a sirloin and had scallops and some haddock. Fresh tasting, nothing too heavy. Smiles all around. Life is great, spend the money and go.
Last minute reservations booked for dinner at Legal C Bar located at the Derby St Shops in Hingham. Our waitress was attentive and organized which resulted in A service all night. We did request a normal table on Open Table, but they stuck us at a high top anyway. No big deal. I did order Oysters, Chowder Sushi and asked that each be delivered after I finished each thing and the waitress did a great job with the timing...ah the little things. We started off with a couple drinks. The usual Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashion for me and a White Legal Sangria for my wife. I get the sold Fashion every Friday night at dinner and do NOT recommend getting one here. It tasted like Bourbon and Sugar Water with no dark cherries muddled or bitters of any kind. The Legal Sangria was amazing as always and we tried both the Red and the White. Drinks were followed with some nice warm rolls fresh out of the oven. I feel Legal has some of the best dinner rolls around and the didn't dissapoint. While eating our rolls the 1/2 dozen Wellfleet Oysters arrived. The Oysters were nice and fresh and we tried them with both the Marinara/Horseradish and the Mignonette. At this point a cup of New a England Clam Chowder arrived and it didn't stand a chance. Nice and hot, perfect consistency abs loaded with clams. I love Legal Seafood New England Clam Chowder. There I said it. My Lobster Tempura Roll with avocado, lobster, tobiko, spicy mayo, teriyaki won the 1st place blue ribbon tonight. It looks like a work of art, but is just a simple sushi roll that pairs so well with the spicy Mayo and Teriyaki Wasabi Soy Sauce. Absolutely delicious and I left the table feeling satisfied. The the $31 market price you really don't get much Lobster though which brings everything down a full star. My wife's Greek Salad was fresh but lacking Feta. Half way through she wasn't even sure if it was Feta or Cotija Cheese. She asked for the Salon cooked Medium and it came out a little under, so she didn't eat the very middle. Good, not Great. Unfortunately, they have really raised their prices and are charging us for Great Food even though it is just average. IMO
I love the two for one lobster roll on the website as a new customer Legal Rewards I'm not too sure if it's still being offered it was a smart idea down the south shore Braintree mass I think the manager said to me 35,000 lobster rolls were served. Server was good atmosphere was goodand the food was
Been here a handful of times. Always great service from the waiters. Sometimes the runners need to think.. if you bring something with fries, offer ketchup. I've gotten oysters, fried fish, test kitchen items and sushi. All great for a legal (Boston area locations are not that great). New decor is good, but I enjoyed the old look. Lots of space though, usually never packed.
