Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis view point is overpriced for what it is. Price should be around 1500yen View was nice over the whole peace park but that’s about it. The room from my hotel was better and free.
Visited after the Peace museum and A-bomb dome and was a good place to sit and reflect with a beautiful view. Recommend taking the elevator up and then walking the ramp or slide down. There is also a facility where you can make a paper crane (you have to buy their origami paper for this) and float the crane down as a wish for peace into a vast glass display that you can see from the outside of the building.
Beautiful venue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and other visitors were very respectful of the space. Understanding what took place here made looking out at the view of a lively city a very solemn event. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a moment of reflection.
Orizuru Tower is a great spot to get a panoramic view of Hiroshima in particular the Peace Memorial Park. We visited in the evening at ~19 20 o'clock. The general entrance through the souvenir store closes and you have to enter through a side entrance. To enter you have to pay a cover charge for a rooftop bar. We ended up also getting a few drinks. The rooftop was empty at the time and we got the whole place to ourselves, which was very relaxing. We spent ~30 minutes hanging out, sipping drinks, and overlooking the lit up city underneath an overcast and drizzly sky. Due to the chilly weather we didn't stay longer, but I hope to come back in warmer weather to see the absolutely stunning sunsets viewable from this rooftop terrace.
Grab a drink at the bottom and head up the nine floor ramp to the top. Beautiful views. Take the helterskelter slide down to the bottom, yes we’re in our 30s. Came at 3:30pm and didn’t have to queue
