Avaliação da contribuiçãoHad a great experience with dinner here! The menu had suggested if you have an allergy to discuss with the staff. They were very helpful in pointing out what to avoid and the food was very delicious.
Stumbled on the restaurant on our last night in HCMC as we were walking around looking for some simple fair. Had originally planned to have a fancy dinner at the hotel to celebrate our 45th anniversary but decided to go for something simple. Saw the restaurant, decided to give it a try even though it was a little more upmarket than what we were looking for and my wife said, she recognised it from a Luke Nguyen episode. Turned out to be our most memorable anniversary dinner. Food was excellent, service impeccable and well matched wine list. Luke certainly put a lot of thought and passion into what and how he serves his customers. This is certainly on a must do/bucket list item. Highly recommended
As huge fans of Luke Nguyen my partner and I were very excited to have dinner at Vietnam House. Ordered multiple dishes. Some were delicious and some were average. I don’t recommend the fresh salmon spring rolls as they didn’t live up to the expectation but do recommend the pork belly, pepper chicken and dragon beans. We had x2 cocktails, one was lovely and the other not so much. The chandeliers hanging above our heads were covered in cob webs and dust, don’t think they had been cleaned in a while. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great with a welcoming feel. I would say that Luke’s restaurant in Sydney (red lantern) is much better with food flavours etc. but we did have a great time here also. Thanks
Tried the dinner set at 1.2 mil/ pax. First impression is incredibly horrendously bland food. No flavour or taste whatsoever, any eatery or delivery food option could have prepared it better. Please reconsider to visit this place, I don't find it representative of anything Vietnamese or contemporary either. The Grabfood noodle bowl for supper after the dinner was more memorable. 1 star given for the excellent service during service and at the door.
This restaurant was recommended to me so naturally I went to check it out. They said it's a Michelin Star worthy so I expected the food to be delicious. Restaurant is very nice looking, service is fanstastic, menu is fancy, prices as well, but unfortunately the food was not so great. It was average at most. Beautifuly served and it looked great, but I tastier food in not so fancy local restaurants. So food gets 4 stars everything else is 5 stars!
