Hamon - Sushi & Teppanyaki

I was a bit apprehensive having seen the high prices before, but it was worth every cent. The sushi and sashimi were of a very high quality and extremely tasty. The 'fatty ' tuna was especially good. Light, crispy tempura, and a very spicy Kimchi. We ordered numerous times and still found some space for green tea ice. The best Japanese we 've eaten in a long time.

As the title suggests...no doubt the food is well prepared and fresh, however, it is expensive and portions are small, very small compared to competitors. The latter is what may lead to the high price because I do not believe there are other sushi locations nearby, so supply and demand may be a factor...they seem to be the only ones that are in position to supply the demand in a 6-8 Km radius. I for one would go back if the prices were a bit lower considering the portions, in summary, if I can go to the mall just 6 kms away, eat cheaper, with larger portions, and similar quality, why go to Hamon? That's my motivation and unfortunately, despite the good food, it is not enough motivation to go back, sorry!

Wir waren auf Empfehlung eines Japaners dort und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Der Preis ist es wirklich wert. Der Fisch und das Fleisch sind butterzart. Der Service ist gut und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

A brand new Restaurant in Taunus Region! Even the Japanese choose to come here. No wonder why! Quiet place, Chef speaks Japanese and you can also enjoy Teppanyaki. Sushi should not be recognised as a fast food and Hamon proves it!+ very Clean+ Sushimoto Quality but Prices are affordable- Quite far from Frankfurt city, need a car

Das Restaurant Hamon macht das beste Sushi, dass ich kenne. Aber nicht nur Sushi, sondern auch am Teppanyaki und auch andere japanische Gerichte sind sehr authentisch und überzeugend. Mit dem Menü, das bis zu 10 kleineren und größeren Gerichten verschiedenster Art beinhaltet, bekommt man nur das Feinste vom Feinsten.Sashimi, Sushi, Ente und weiteres machen das Erlebnis perfekt;) Lassen Sie sich davon überraschen!!
