Cafe 39 - Hokitika

YUM! We tried today for the first time and the coffee was good. Ordered a cheese, mushroom, ham Omlette pancake with bacon, maple syrup, bananas. They were both so delicious. Good amount of everything on your plate. Nice and relaxed inside. Staff very polite friendly. have you been eating?

The late lunch here loved and would recommend others. We had 2 of the lunch specialties (bascon and corn stack and roasted sandwich with frits) and they were a good size and a great taste. Small things were good when the roasted sandwich was crispy and the tomatoes really delicious and the coffee in a large cup. Also the lady who served us was beautiful. Try it

This is a decent caffe with great wifi! all other caffes in this city give them only 50mb free. so cheap! but the caffe 39 is good to sit and hang. it has a large seating area and an outside area (see photos märz 2018). light background music. cheerful waitress. the cakes are only “OK”. the quiche is “good”. we really enjoyed our time in this caffe, especially in the outdoor terrace! when they go, try it out, they get a lot of natural light.

Great lunch treated our big bus group with whitebait fritters. legit very tasty.

Lovely seafood chowder my mum enjoyed. Customer service was excellent. We enjoy repeat visits.
