Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe best grits I ever had anywhere! They were so creamy and tasty. I was shocked. I’m a grits snob and I could not believe how delicious they were. Also, I had the eggs Benedict and they were perfect in every way. They had three slices of Canadian bacon, which I’ve never seen before. The eggs were perfect and the hollandaise sauce was so creamy, and was not broken. The weight staff was very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and with a smile. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were very large. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to go back again.
Local staple, consistent breakfast and lunch where you feel at home.
We went to this place for a brunch. Great food and reasonable price. Both grownups and children were happy. Definitely will go there again !
I enjoy their food and their portion sizes are nice. However, compared to other similar restaurants, I find that they nickel and dime you. I understand if you want something EXTRA, that you are charged. My mom asked for her home fries to be well done and we were charged an additional 50 cents. We were not told this prior to getting the bill. Not only were the home fries not well done but I feel this is a ridiculous and unnecessary charge. No, 50 cents is not going to break the bank, but it's the principle. Additionally, I ordered a BLT. At most other restaurants, chips are included (similar price sandwhich). At Madisons, they charge 2.00$ for a side of chips. I know it's convenience but I could buy a big bag of chips for 2.00. I could see charging maybe 50 cents. But othwise, food and service is good. Just hate being charged for things that are really ridiculous.EDITED TO RESPOND TO OWNER because I cannot reply as another post to same thread-On the check, it said home fries- well done .50. I'm not sure about why there would be a charge for the onions on the weekend only but this was a weekday that we went. Besides, these home fries had no onions nor were we asked if onions were wanted. As for the chips, the other restaurants that have the the same BLT sandwhich have very similar prices- and inclue chips. If you want to charge for chips, that's your choice but I think $2.00 for a side of chips is over the top.I'm not here to argue. I was giving my review. Pros and cons. You can defend or just take it as constructive criticism and either decide to change it or not change it.
Food was great and you definitely get your bang for your buck with the portions. We had an omelette, scrambled eggs and french toast, all of which were delicious. The home fries were one of the most flavorful I've had. Servers were very attentive and friendly. Table had a great selection of hot sauces to choose from. Crowd was reasonable for 9am on a Sunday. Definitely found our new breakfast spot!
