Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe restaurant – Hotel Sollingshöhe is located in the middle of the nature park and can be used as a starting point for corresponding hikes. Parking is sufficient, the entrance is easy to master over two three small steps, only the toilets are in the basement. In front of the building there is also a small guest garden under a large tree and additional parasols. The Silverborn district of Holzminden is easily accessible by car. We visited the restaurant several times during our stay, a total of three times for dinner. On the one hand, this was due to the fact that in this area, as you say, "the dog is buried", on the other hand, but also to the good kitchen, the very good service and the space available for a group of 12 people. Since we had reserved each time, the table occupancy was of course not a problem. At the first visit, however, with the comment “But you have the courage to come with 12 people”, it was also due to the fact that today’s Wednesday “Big Steak Tag” 300 g of the cattle back for €19.50 and the locals were beautiful. Then we have some tables in the breakfast room. In addition to the other possibilities, this also brought the service even more sales, because even the still free tables in the breakfast room were still occupied in the evening! These thematic days seem to be a real racer, on Friday Gambas sat at €21.50 the place was completely filled again, while Thursday Burger did not arrive this way from €12.50. The service in the restaurant is very competent, friendly, fast and inconspicuous. Guests are provided with a notification without being perceived as intrusive. Oh, if it always is. They note that there is continuous training and training. Very commendable! Prices are still within the scope and are also appropriate in view of the whole. The beers with 0.3 liters move around €2.40, even if the piles are still at €2.30 in the menu, at 0.5 liters we move around € 3.40 and the wheat beer is charged with €4.20 per 0.5 liter. The dishes move in a range of appetizers from 8,50 € of very praised goat cheese over soups from 5,00 € to the main foods between 9,00 € sülze from the farmer Otte and 31,50 € for the grilled Irish cattle fillet 250 g. It must be mentioned that the parts are really plentiful and everyone has become rich. The desserts were not ordered by us, but they are between €2.00 for a yogurt mandarin ice cream and €5.80 for a Panna Cotta. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a picnic salad in the glass similar to Ikea candle glass during the first visit I let myself say that the Rigatoni were made easily with vinegar and oil and mild with Brunoise from Gurke and Chili – delicately flavored, very tasty. During the second visit there was the same noodle salad, but with a kind of redini small spiral noodles. At the third visit we had a Déjà vu there as a greeting from the kitchen noodle salad as it was already! Once is very good, twice was good, but three times becomes boring. The main foods were praised completely and without exception by my appetizers and remained without complaints. My main dishes: Mackes Senfschnitzel in Einbecker Senfpanade to 14.80 very spicy and crispy from the pan roasted, Cheesburger at 14.80 € consisted of a juicy beef patty with obligatory salad, herbs, tomatoes, ketchup hair? and crispy pommes. It was okay, but Burger probably never gets mine. Lauwarmes Carpaccio vom Rind zu 12,50 € on the map made me curious last night. It is also on the map as “time was quite different”. There were three very short roasted juicy beef slices on a balsamic rocket salad with parmesan, caper seed and cherry tomatoes. It has very little to do with Carpaccio, but it is a new interpretation. Regional meat The usual espressos at 2,20 € were perfect, the spirits are between 2,00 and 5,50 € for a Williams Edelbrand, each 2 cl. Speciality, there is a fairly rare Averna to get 2,20 € and of course a regional product, the Silverborne Moor Herbs as well as the recommended wildfire at 2,00 €. But also for non-walkers from the surrounding area it is worth the ride to this restaurant.
