Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had no longer thought that the Maharaja was closed on Mondays; also near a pizzeria the doors were dense and so we landed by chance in the Homburger Hof . From the ambience a kind of brewhouse, the menu with defensive dishes, Saarland specialities and various flame-cake variations. In addition to the map there is a so-called lunch table with changing dish from Monday to Friday; Today it was Schnitzel in the Biertig with Pommes Frites. In some dishes such as carving from the map there is a small and a large portion. The Homburger Hof Inn has been promoting traditional gastronomy for over 100 years; on request, celebrations, whether menu or buffet, are also organised individually according to the wishes of the respective host. Put your feast in our hands! You can also purchase the exclusive Homburger Hof Club Card in silver or gold. Advantage lt. HH Flyer: Pay cashless, discounts on all drinks and food, for every day meal/weekly meal an espresso or coffee free, stamp booklet (after 15 lunch is the next day lunch free), birthday invitation (on the birthday of the card owner gets this free a court of his choice), online customer account, promotions special prices (events and specials). Well! The service is flott, good on it and very friendly. The guest room as well as the wet rooms are well maintained and clean; who likes it a bit rustic, he's here well. Food: We enjoyed crispy porkshaxe in dark beer sauce with sauerkraut and napkin dumplings to EUR 11,90, the lunch dish Schnitzel in Biertig with Pommes Frites to EUR 6,90 and the smaller production of the Homburger Hof Schnitzels with fresh fried mushrooms and roasted potatoes to EUR 9,90. The haxe was beautifully crispy on the outside, no longer so juicy on the inside (was probably too long under the Salamander) and it was right work to release the meat from the bone with the really extremely blunt cutlery knife. The herb could have been better spiced, for that the napkin dumplings and the sauce were really good. The fact that at a price of EUR 6.90 the claims should not be too high should be apparent, but the carving was not bad in the penny. And with the two portions of Homburger Hof Schnitzel, except for the slightly very dark roast potatoes, everything was all right. Totally medium-high! At the next visit to Homburg we prefer to go back to our Indians.
The food was traditional German farewell, great service, fast and pleasant, definitely gave a historical feeling.
The food was great, but I've never experienced such a bad service. On our table only empty glasses. And when the cash register system turned out, there was a drink in three hours. The invoice after approx. One hour.
Today was a disaster. Eating was as usual, but when the system failed, there were no more drinks. With us just before the food came. After almost 45 minutes we got at least large bottles of sprouts for more frequent requests. It took almost 45 minutes to finally pay. The staff was so overwhelmed that the kindness suffered very much.
Price heavy food: 5 Service: 5 atmosphere: 5.
