Shiver's Bbq - Homestead

The place needs to be cleaned better, and the staff needs to be more attentive. My fork was dirty, and the plates were disgusting. The only good thing about this place was the ribs.

A great BBQ spot in South Florida. Hometown BBQ in Miami gets more attention, but this is hands down the best BBQ spot I have tried in South-Florida. I have been to Hometown, I've been to Big Lee's in Ocala and this spot is just as good as the latter. If you are driving down the Turnpike to the Keys, make sure you stop by here for lunch. You won't regret it.

First time going to this place to have something to eat. Let me start with the pros, I had burnt ends, corn soufflé, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. Also chicken. The food mentioned above was absolutely delicious, except the chicken. Our server was Karen. She was super friendly. Cons, I did not care for corn, the food wasn’t hot enough for my test and the flies will for sure keep me away until addressed.

The tastiest ribs in the entire homestead. Super relaxed place and good service. The prices are quite good considering that two people can eat even if it is a personal dish.
